36th Santa Barbara International Film Festival Coast (review) #sbiff

Desperate to escape the trappings of her small coastal farming town, 16-year old Abby falls for the lead singer of a touring rock band and must decide whether or not to leave her family and friends behind. With live music performances and an exciting ensemble cast, COAST is about female friendships, finding your truth and letting the music take you home.

Parents of all kind would relate to this film. Trying to figure out teens, hoping they tell you what happening whether than shut you down. I really enjoyed the characters in this film. The friendships at a time where everything is a fog was by far the best part. She didnt want to go through the family business of farming. She needed to learn it was good for her not a curse. In the end she has to make up her own mind as to what she wanted and she chose herself and family. Truly a must see. #beachiebeautyapproved.
