The Los Angeles Food Policy Council celebrated five years for it collaborative efforts to create a more just and sustainable food system in Southern California. On June 11 a friend and I were invited to take part in a dining experience like no other. Neal Fraser Chef/Owner of Redbird, Vibiana, BLD, and ICDC was our fabulous host for the evening. Guests were treated to an array of tasty bits throughout the gala.
The creative signature cocktails by mixologist Julian Cox were amazing. The Green Bar Distillery had a great organic spirit option, Three Weavers Brewing and Strand Brewing Company were on hand as well. Even Kleiman host KCRW’s Good Food served as emcee with DJ Raul Campos on the 1’s and 2’s. Check out some of the fab food we tried out. I hope to join in next year for all the fun.
